Supervised swimming is available at select provincial park locations during July and August. Lifeguard supervision will take place from July 1 - August 30, 2026.

Supervision will be provided at Lawrencetown Beach on Labour day weekend September 5 – 7 and September 12-13.

Lifeguards are on duty from 10 am - 6 pm daily except for at Clam Harbour and Mavillette Beach where supervision is provided on weekends only. 

Lifeguard supervision is provided by the Nova Scotia Lifeguard Service

Water quality is only monitored at supervised beaches.
