    Situated on a large lake not far from the Musquodoboit Valley, Dollar Lake Provincial Park is the perfect escape. The quiet woodland setting offers a wide range of outdoor opportunities, including camping, boating, canoeing, water-skiing, and fishing. A beautiful sandy beach at the north end of the lake offers fresh water swimming.

    Nestled between two lakes in the heart of southern Nova Scotia, this 114 ha (280 acre) park offers a walking trail in a hardwood setting, canoeing, swimming, and camping for all those who like to enjoy the outdoors. The quiet beauty of nature is evident everywhere at Ellenwood Lake Provincial Park. The shoreline holds some of Nova Scotia's rare plants, and the lakes have both brown and speckled trout and chain pickerel.

    Please be advised that the water at Ellenwood is subject to a chemical advisory and is posted not safe for drinking or cooking. Campers need to bring their own potable water. We apologize for any inconvenience.
