    Located between the communities of Boylston and Guysborough (town), Boylston Provincial Park is an ideal place to camp while touring the Eastern Shore. The wooded hilltop campground offers a spectacular view of Guysborough Harbour. Please note that this park is a self-registration park.

    The park offers 34 wooded campsites, and a picnic area. The picnic area is open until mid October. The campground has water outlets and a trailer dump station.

    Just a few kilometres from one of Nova Scotia's points of entry, Caribou-Munroes Island Provincial Park makes a marvellous stop on your way to or from Prince Edward Island.

    A mile long sand beach offers some of the warmest saltwater swimming north of the Carolinas and the campground provide excellent opportunities for camping, or just appreciating nature.

    The park offers 95 campsites, 17 open, 4 partially wooded, 74 wooded, picnic areas, and an unsupervised beach. There is a walking trail along the beach out to the island.

    A long, wide sandy beach; supervised (July-August weekends only, STC). Visitors can enjoy a picnic in a field on top of a bluff. Also some cross country skiing in winter. Located 10 km (6 mi) south of Lake Charlotte.

    Just across the harbour from the historic town of Shelburne, The Islands Provincial Park offers a restful stop on your trip around the South Shore. Bounded by Shelburne Harbour, it offers visitors a maritime camping experience. Shelburne's many museums, shops, and picturesque charm continue to attract thousands of international visitors each year. Please note that this park is a self-registration park.

    The Islands offers a 70-site campground, water outlets, two picnic areas, an unsupervised beach, boat launch, and trailer dump station.

    Valleyview Provincial Park offers a quiet woodland setting overlooking the Annapolis Valley. The park is within easy traveling distance of the Fundy Coast and communities along Route 1.

    The park offers a 30 site campground and picnic area. It also features an interpretive site overlooking the breadth of the Valley below.
