Several provincial parks will reopen today, Monday September 18th. The following eight camping parks will reopen today at 2:00 pm: 

• Battery, Richmond County 
• Blomidon, Kings County 
• Caribou-Munroes Island, Pictou County  
• Ellenwood Lake, Yarmouth County 
• Mira River, Cape Breton County 
• Porters Lake, Halifax Regional Municipality 
• Valleyview, Annapolis County 
• Whycocomagh, Inverness County

The remaining camping parks and day-use are being assessed for damage, cleanup is underway and parks will re-open when safe to do so. Further updates will be provided on our website and social media. Affected campers with reservations will be contacted.
