Starting on September 22, Martinique Beach will be closed for construction. Upgrades will include relocating the park entry road, building a new parking lot, and new facilities for lifeguards and toilet/change houses. Access to the park will be restricted during construction. During the closure, visitors are encouraged to go to Lawrencetown Beach to the west or Clam Harbour Beach to the east. These improvements will make the park more enjoyable for years to come.
