Hurricane Fiona caused significant damage at Caribou-Munroes Island Provincial Park. Campsites in Loop C at Caribou-Munroes Island will remain closed until further notice due to ongoing campsite remediation work. The rest of the campground is scheduled to open June 2, 2023.  

Tree and brush clean up was completed in the fall. Further work is required to ensure campsites are level, dry, and re-seeded. Closure of the entire loop is needed for public safety during construction. Updates regarding when the campsites will re-open during the 2023 season will be provided on our website and social media.
