Graves Island Provincial Park will close for the season on September 7th. The last night for camping is September 6th. The early closure is needed for significant upgrades to the Graves Island causeway. The causeway will be rebuilt one meter higher than the existing infrastructure to protect the park from the impacts of flooding, erosion, and rising sea levels. The causeway project is expected to be completed in advance of the 2027 park season. During the closure there will be no access to Graves Island.
