Graves Island will be open from May 15 – September 7th. The last night for camping will be Sunday September 6th. Early closure of Graves Island is necessary for major upgrades to the causeway. The causeway will be rebuilt one meter higher than the existing infrastructure to protect the park from the impacts of flooding, erosion, and rising sea levels. During construction, Graves Island will be closed for camping and day visitors.
