Learn to Camp is a fun and informative overnight experience teaching camping skills like how to build a fire, set up a tent, cook a meal outdoors, and use camping equipment. The 2023 Learn to Camp weekend will be held at Five Islands Provincial Park July 15-16. Registration is open until July 7th with a cost of $60 for individuals, households, or families of up to six people. This event is delivered in partnership with Scouts Canada-Nova Scotia Council. All ages welcome. 

Learn how to:

• select camping and cooking gear
• set up and tear down camp (inlcuding your tent)
• safety start campfires, cook with them and put them out
