Pre-screening for campers prior to arrival at a camping park
All campers included on the campsite permit must complete the self-screening questions below.
1. Are you or anyone in your household required to self-isolate under the current Nova Scotia Heath Protection Act Order?
2. Have you or anyone in your household tested positive for COVID-19 (in the last 14 days) or are waiting for your COVID-19 test results?
3. Have you been advised by Public Health to get a COVID-19 test?
4. In the last 14 days, have you had close contact (within 2 metres / 6 feet) with someone confirmed to have COVID-19?
5. In the past 48 hours have you had, or are you currently experiencing, any of these symptoms?
a. fever (i.e. chills/sweats) or cough (new or worsening) OR
b. two or more of the following symptoms (new or worsening);
• sore throat
• runny nose/nasal congestion
• headache
• shortness of breath
If you answer yes to any questions above, please cancel your camping reservation, stay home and complete the NS Public Health online COVID-19 self-assessment.
If you are unable to access the online tool, call 811.
If you answer no to all of the questions above, no action is required.
