Cape “Blow-Me-Down”

Join us for an evening of stories and history all about Cape Blomidon. Accompanied by old photos, paintings and artifacts, we will learn about the rich past that makes Cape Blomidon and Cape Split such important landmarks for people of all cultures and traditions that have lived and/or explored around the Minas Basin. Hear about the adventures of Kluskap, the voyages of Champlain, and the Battle of Blomidon. There will be something to pique the interest of anyone with an open mind, a love of learning, or an appreciation of folklore, art, photography and science. Meet at the Emma Tichenor Campers’ Centre near the Comfort Station. All ages welcome. Adult Supervision for children required.
