Restrictions are subject to change as public health restrictions change.
- Campsite bookings are open to Nova Scotia residents and anyone from a jurisdiction (province or territory) that is not required by a Public Health Order to self-isolate upon arrival to Nova Scotia.
- Reservations are required in advance of arrival at a camping park. No drive-up bookings.
- Auto check-in: All parks will operate using auto check-in; eliminating the need for campers to stop at the park office.
- COVID-19 screening: questions will be administered through a reminder email four days prior to arrival at the campground.
- Visitors are not permitted in the campground, registered campers only.
- Campsite closures: overflow sites, double sites, and group sites will be closed to start the 2021 camping season.
- Cabins at Cape Chignecto will remain closed.
- Campsite use: A campsite permit includes up to 6 people and one vehicle. Campers must follow current public health guidelines for gathering limits and physical distancing.
- Group use campsites will remain closed.
- Laundry facilities will not be available
