Entry to the park requires a gate access code. If you arrive at the park without an access code, please call 1-888-544-3434 or use the yellow phone at the park kiosk. Be prepared to provide your reservation information to obtain the gate code.

Only minutes from metro Halifax/Dartmouth, Laurie Provincial Park is the perfect escape from the urban rush, yet the park is close enough for day trips in to visit the many attractions found in the metro area. The quiet lakeside setting offers a wide range of outdoor opportunities including camping, canoeing, water skiing, fishing, and swimming. Please note that this park is a self-registration park.

Facilities and Services

The park has 63 wooded campsites, 1 serviced site for campground host, a large picnic area, and trailer dump station. There is a small unsupervised beach on Shubenacadie-Grand Lake. Oakfield Provincial Park, just a few kilometers north, offers a large open picnic area, boat launch and beautiful sand beach ideal for family swimming.

No check-in for campers prior to 1:00 PM

WiFi is available at the admin building and surrounding area.

Camping reservations can be made beginning April 2, 2017.
